Alex Telles’s FIFA Rating Will Delight United Fans As He Is Ranked Above The Likes Of Chilwell And Tierney

Manchester United left-back Alex Telles has been ranked the fourth best left-back in the world on FIFA 21. The Brazilian’s 84 rating only puts him behind the likes of Liverpool’s Andy Robertson (87), Barcelona’s Jordi Alba (86) and Juventus’s Alex Sandro (85).

Compared to other players in the Premier League, the 27-year-old is ranked pretty favourably with both Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell’s and Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney getting much lower ratings.

Chilwell, who was signed from Leicester for £50m in the summer, is rated at 81, while Tierney has been given a rating of 78. Of course, these scores don’t matter a great deal outside of the game but it will be interesting to see whether he can live up to expectations when he makes his debut for the Red Devils.

United only paid £13.6m upfront for the fullback, due to the player’s contract situation, and if his performances can get anywhere close to matching his rating in FIFA 21, it will be money well spent.
