The agent of Brazil and PSG star Marquinhos is reportedly pushing for a move to Manchester United this summer.

United are on the hunt for a new centre-back ahead of the new season, and have been linked with both Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire.

However they may now turn their attention to Marquinhos after the player’s agent Giuliano Bertolucci has reportedly contacted United about a potential summer switch to Old Trafford.

Paris United report Bertolucci made contact with United to gauge the club’s interest in bringing the highly rated Brazilian to England.

It is not known whether United have responded to the approach, however Marquinhos is understood to be happy with PSG and would not favour a move away from France in the coming months.

The 24-year-old joined PSG in 2013 after a single season in Italy with Roma, and has since established himself as one of Europe’s best young centre backs.

In five seasons with the Parisians, Marquinhos has made 202 appearances and scored 15 goals, helping his side to four Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles.
