Agent ‘Knocking On The Doors’ To Find January Move For 64M Rated Playmaker, United And Chelsea Both Weighing Up Bids

The agent of Lazio playmaker Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is “knocking on the doors” of various European teams in order to try and get the player a move during the January transfer window, according to Quotidiano.net.

The Italian news website reports that the Serbian international is “ready to say goodbye” to Lazio but there are currently very few suitors for the midfielder.

Manchester United and Chelsea both reportedly made “rich offers” for Milinkovic-Savic back in the summer but the two teams have yet to decide on whether they want to go back in for the 27-year-old.

Quotidiano suggest Juventus as the player’s most likely destination but the Italian side’s financial problems would probably make a deal difficult.

The main issue is likely to be Milinkovic-Savic’s asking price. Even though the Serbian only has eighteen months remaining on his contract, Lazio value him at around €75m (£64m), which has put off potential suitors.
