Agent Deals Blow To United’s Chances Of Signing Haaland As He Speaks Out On Likely Destination And Wage Demands

The CEO of New Era Group, Jamie Moralee, who is the agent for a number of Premier League footballers, has commented on Erling Haaland’s prospective summer move to England.

Moralee doesn’t have any involvement with the Norwegian international but he did name the two teams who are the likeliest to sign the striker at the end of the season:

“I would say that Haaland’s value on the market is now around £150 million. I think he’ll end up in England. Manchester City or Chelsea.”

The agent also predicted the weekly wage that Haaland will likely be given if he makes the switch to the Premier League:

“His salary could end up anywhere between £200,000 and £300,000 a week.”

Moralee’s comments do suggest that Manchester United are trailing in the battle to snap up Haaland, but his lack of involvement in the deal means we shouldn’t place too much importance on his remarks.

If Alf Inge Haaland or Mino Raiola had spoken out and confirmed this to be the case, then it would be a huge blow, but so far, the representatives around the player have been keeping very quiet. We shall see if that changes in the coming months.
