Agent Claims ‘New Pogba’ Is Ready For Premier League Switch Following United And Chelsea Interest

Agent Jonathan Barrett believes Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is ready to play in the Premier League despite only being 18 years of age.

Over the past year, Manchester United have been tipped to make a move for the Frenchman as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, while Chelsea and Real Madrid were also mentioned as potential suitors in the Spanish press earlier this month.

Barnett feels Camavinga has all the attributes to make it in the top-flight of English football, but he stopped short of saying that a move would definitely go ahead:

“Camavinga can play next year in the Premier League. He is that good. Whether he will or not, I don’t know.”

Due to the collapse of Ligue One’s TV deal, it is believed that teams in France will be selling players for lower prices this summer. It was previously believed that Rennes would demand as much as €50m (£43m) for Camavinga but recent reports have suggested that may have been reduced to €30m (£25.5m). We shall see if United make their move in the coming months.
