‘A Very Good Signing’ ‘I Would Absolutely Love Him At United’ Fans Discuss Reports That Club Could Pursue World Cup Winner

Manchester United’s recruitment team have been discussing a potential move for Brighton midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, according to reports in the English media.

The Argentinian international played an important role in his country’s World Cup victory and he has also been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

While there are plenty of fans on Twitter who would like United to sign Mac Allister, there are a few doubting whether he would be the right addition to the squad:

Alongside Moises Caicedo in midfield, Mac Allister has proven to be an outstanding player for Brighton, and he transferred those performances onto the international stage in Qatar.

There aren’t really many complaints about his quality, but the cost of the deal could prove to be problematic. Brighton are notoriously difficult negotiators and there is a feeling that Mac Allister could cost as much as £70m, especially with the amount of competition for his signature.
