‘A Double Operation…’ Report Suggests Dalot Could Be Part Of Swap Deal As United Target 44M Rated Serie A Star

Inter Milan would be open to a swap deal involving Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot and Denzel Dumfries, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri are believed to have kept tabs on the Portuguese international “for a while” and they could be interested in “a double operation” with Dumfries moving in the other direction.

Dalot has less than eighteen months left on his contract at Old Trafford and, while reports have suggested that talks over a new deal are progressing, no agreement has been announced yet.

Gazzetta claim that the Red Devils (along with Chelsea) have been watching Dumfries in recent months, so there is a good chance that a deal involving both players would be considered.

The Dutch international is reportedly valued at around €50m (£44m) by Inter, and despite performing well at the World Cup, the Serie A club are open to letting the wingback leave as they look to balance the books.
