United Could Snap Up £40m Rated Dutch Ace But The Player Has One Condition For Accepting Move

Manchester United are keeping tabs on PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn, according to the Mirror. Scouts have been watching the Dutch international’s performances this season with a keen interest.

The 22-year-old could be available for £40m next summer, but there is one key condition for any move to go ahead.  Bergwijn will only accept a switch to a club who are playing Champions League football.

Considering United’s current position in the Premier League, that could be a problem. The Red Devils sit seventh in the table, nine points off the top four.

Bergwijn has been in good form this campaign, having scored three goals and contributed nine assists in 19 appearances but he is currently out with a hamstring injury.

The Dutchman can play on the right or left-wing and has even been employed in a no.10 role this season. His flexibility and mobility would certainly fit the profile of a versatile attacker that United are said to be looking for.
