Sporting Director In London To Discuss Sale Of £72m Rated Serbian Midfield Maestro To United

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is in London to listen to proposals from English clubs for midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Sport Mediaset.

Manchester United are the club most interested in the Serbian international as they seek a possible replacement for Paul Pogba.

The midfielder’s agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that the Frenchman is looking to leave Old Trafford, and it appears Milinkovic-Savic is being eyed in case the United star is sold.

Lazio are said to be demanding €100m (£90m) but Sport Mediaset believe the Serie A side will settle for €80m (£72m) as they know the Serbian is keen to leave Italy.

Milinkovic-Savic has reportedly already sold his apartment in Rome as he anticipates his departure from the Italian capital.

United could finance the deal for the 24-year-old from the sale of Pogba, but the Red Devils have yet to receive a bid that meets their £150m valuation.
