Manchester United have had a fairly quiet summer in the transfer market so far.

The Red Devils have completed only three signings in the form of Stoke City keeper Lee Grant, Porto youngster Diogo Dalot and £52 million midfielder Fred, who joined from Shakhtar Donetsk.

However business is unlikely to be concluded yet, with a host of big names from across Europe being linked with a move to Old Trafford in the coming weeks.

United are hot favourites to land Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his defensive options ahead of the new campaign. Harry Maguire has also been considered as an option for United – as as Alderweireld’s Spurs team-mate Danny Rose – who was close to joining the Red Devils in January.

Up the other end of the pitch, United have been linked with Ivan Perisic after his impressive World Cup with Croatia; and Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić, who is widely expected to leave Serie A this summer.
