Manchester United are willing to give Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara a high wage in order to persuade the 22-year-old into moving to Old Trafford, according to reports in Italy.
Roma, Arsenal, Manchester City and a number of other clubs have been linked with the France Under 21 international but the Red Devils seem determined to land the player.
Kamara will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club as soon as tomorrow, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
A number of reliable sources in the UK have claimed that the Frenchman is on United’s radar, so we shall see if they do make a formal proposal to the player in the coming days and weeks.
There has been some speculation that a deal could be brought forward to January, with the Red Devils paying a fee in order to strengthen their midfield for the second half of the campaign, but it seems a free transfer in the summer is more likely currently.
