Manchester United do have a sell-on clause on Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku, according to reports in the local media.
The Belgian international left Old Trafford for €80m almost two years ago, but reports suggest that he could well make a return to England, with Chelsea and Manchester City both interested in the player.
Supporters on Twitter are hoping United receive a sizeable windfall from a potential transfer, although some do point out that the club still haven’t received all of the money they are owed by Inter:
Chelsea money would be nice ?

So they still owe us for the original sale… AND now a potential sell on fee! ??

We shall see if a move transpires in the coming weeks. Lukaku’s switch back to these shores could actually have a double benefit for the Red Devils.
United are interested in signing a new number nine themselves and, were either Chelsea or City to seal a deal for Lukaku, it would remove them from the race for the likes of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.
