60M Rated Brazilian Teenage Prodigy Speaks Out Amid Claims He’s Been Contacted By United, Chelsea And Arsenal

Santos centre-back Kaiky has refused to be drawn on reports that he is being pursued by Manchester United and a number of other high-profile European clubs.

The 17-year-old’s representatives are said to have had regular contact with the Red Devils, Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus in recent months but the defender says he is concentrating on his football:

“This conversation is more with my agent, but my thoughts at the moment are Santos. I love this club very much, I don’t want to leave soon, I want to win many titles here, it’s the club I support, the club of my heart. I hope to build a beautiful story here, win many titles and then think about the way out.”

Kaiky is a highly regarded young player in Brazil, having captained his country at Under 16 level and established himself as a regular starter for Santos after making his senior debut in February.

One complication is that the teenager already has a very high release clause, which reportedly stands at €70m (£60m), while it appears the player is in no rush to leave his current club.

United will be after a new centre-half in the summer, but they are thought to be looking at players with more experience such as Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane.
