£108m Transfer Stalls As United Refuse To Give In To Demands From Two Agents

Manchester United have still not agreed personal terms with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho after talks with his agent Emeka Obasi, according to reports in England.

The 20-year-old’s wage demands are proving a problem but it is not the only issue. The Red Devils are also concerned by the involvement of Marco Lichtsteiner, who is being used as an intermediary by Dortmund.

Lichtsteiner is also said to be demanding an agent’s fee, and these two disputes have meant United have not even started discussions with Dortmund over a transfer fee.

The Manchester club are aware that the Bundesliga outfit are demanding €120m (£108m) for Sancho, although it is believed they will include a number of add-ons in the offer as and when they table their proposal.

United do have until October 5th to get this deal over the line, and it looks as though this transfer could take a while to be finalised.
