United Want 30 Goal+ Striker

Manchester United’s search for a new striker this summer may well be concluded with a deal for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

United have emerged as one of the favourites to complete a £22 million deal the striker. However, they will face dearie competition from PSG and Liverpool.

Lacazette has had a phenomenal season in the French Ligue 1. The 23-year-old has managed 31 goals in 31 appearances for Lyon so far this season, which has earned him a place in the France International side, where he is a regular starter.

The Frenchman has attracted a lot of attention from clubs around Europe, and earlier in the season he looked set to stay at Lyon. However it is now likely that the player will look to leave the side, and Manchester United could be the side to snap the prolific youngster.

As previously mentioned, PSG are believed to be readying a bid in the region of €30 million. Which would be a big signing for the table toppers in the French league, as their only competition so far, Lyon, would almost certainly not have challenged without Lacazette’s goals.

As far as United are concerned, a move for the Frenchman would certainly benefit them, as Falcao is looking more than likely to leave and RVP has question marks over his future.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal spoke about his desire for a 20+ goals a season striker. In Lacazette, he may well have found the answer.
