Manchester United vs West Brom: Predicted XI

Manchester United vs West Brom: Predicted XI

Well United have only a few selection questions due to injury and suspension as they prepare to face West Bromich Albion at Old Trafford in one of Saturday’s 3pm kick-offs in the Barclays Premier League. The Baggies have won their last two League visits to Old Trafford and in fact only have 1 loss in their last 5 Premier League games against the reds with 2 draws. So United need to turn their form around against Tony Pulis’ men. If you fancy having a flutter on whether United can change their fortunes against West Brom then why not use Ladbrokes.

One problem area for United is the right back position where Antonio Valencia looks likely to miss out due to a foot problem and after picking up his 5th yellow card of the season vs Crystal Palace, Matteo Darmian is suspended. Therefore by default pretty much, Ashley Young will probably continue to fill in at right back. Paddy McNair and Luke Shaw are unfortunately long-term absences although the good news is that Luke Shaw has been seen walking around without the aid of crutches as reported by the Independent.

On the plus side Morgan Schneiderlin looks likely to be available for selection after recovering from illness which caused him to miss the Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow.

We think LVG will stick with the impressing Lingard who has only got better and better with his time on the pitch this season and in fact the manager will only make one change from the side that beat CSKA by inserting Phil Jones in place of Daley Blind in the centre of defense.

So the projected line-up to face West Brom is…

——————-De Gea——————-

—Young—Smalling—Jones—Rojo—-

——–Carrick—Schweinsteiger———

——Lingard—–Mata—–Martial——

——————-Rooney——————
