Louis Van Gaal Still Confident in United’s Ability To Attract Players

Well Louis Van Gaal has spent over £250million in the past 2 major summer transfer windows and no matter what the window the Dutchman believes that players are still very eager to sign for the legendary United and play at the Theatre Of Dreams.

Sebastien Schweinsteiger is a clear example of this as reported by 90min.com as the German World Cup winner had this to stay when talking about the possibility of leaving Bayern Munich, he disclosed, “Manchester United is the only club that I would have left Munich for.”

If the other names pursued by Van Gaal in the summer are anything to go by he clearly believes in the attraction United still have for the game’s top stars. The manager apparently made offers in the summer for Sergio Ramos and Neymar Jnr underlining his beliefs and seemingly it was the reluctance of the clubs involved (Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively) which scuppered the deals . Also remember that LVG was also reportedly circling former United man – the one and only Ronaldo. In reference to these overtures to the top stars, when speaking about it a few days ago the Dutch manager said, “I think that all the players I want do want to come. It is not a question of the players, it is a question of the clubs who are stopping them.”

The recent transfer that backs up LVG’s feelings is United’s deadline day move for French starlet Anthony Martial who seemingly turned down a more lucrative Chelsea move to realise his “dream”. Also it looks good for LVG to add that key signing or two to try and take advantage of the Championship winning calibre defense he has and the massive potential within the attacking players this season and claim some trophies.
