Liverpool Planning Two Victory Parades Despite Not Having Won Anything Yet

Liverpool council have revealed that Liverpool FC have already made plans with them for two open-top bus parades in case they win the Premier League or the Champions League.

Despite it being unlikely that Manchester City will drop points against Brighton on the final day of the season, the Merseyside club have set up plans for a victory lap of the city on Monday, the day after their game against Wolves.

For the Champions League celebrations, the parade will take place on 2nd June; the day after they face Tottenham in the final in Madrid.

The council have explained that the parade plans have been made so early because of some “major logistical challenges” due to other events being held in the city on those days.

Still, it is just a tad presumptuous to be planning victory parades when there is still a good chance that they won’t win anything this season. Manchester City have yet to even plan their celebrations with Manchester council despite knowing that a win on Sunday will secure them the Premier League title.
