Jose Mourinho Has A Few Thoughts Ahead Of His Chelsea Return

As United manager Jose Mourinho makes his much anticipated and much-hyped to the site of many of his former trophy wins where he is undoubtedly well-loved and well-repected by the majority of Chelsea fans. the manager seems ready for the challenge as you would expect and as reported by Eurosport had to say ahead of the game:

“I knew that, working in England and staying in the Premier League, I knew that sooner or later, I had to play against Chelsea and go to Stamford Bridge,” the Manchester United manager said.

“The computer has decided it is to go now. And here we go.”

Mourinho masterminded a victory in the Champions League in his only previous visit to Stamford Bridge as a manager when he led his ultimately Champions League winning Inter Milan team to a win and they also went on to beat Barcelona on that run to the Cup back in 2010 when Jose was plying his trade in Serie A.

We know Jose can pull off a tactical masterpiece to defuse the threat from Antonio Conte’s improving Chelsea side but are United ready in their development under the “Special One” to pull off a victory. The talk from some of the players including Marcus Rashford is the use of the same mindset used against Liverpool which points towards a close, highly combative and rugged Premier League fixture against the Blues. United will likely be looking to hit on the break.

Bring it on and hopefully for United, Jose gets it right and sneaks past Antonio winning bragging rights.
