Chances Of Keeping De Gea Go Down

The whole De Gea deal seems to be coming to an end after Bwin announced Casillas’s departure to Porto. This means Manchester United is very likely to receive an offer from Real Madrid, a deal which could not be refused given the fact that his contract will expire in 2016 and losing him for free would be utter nonsense. According to The Telegraph, Bwin who is directly involved with the Spaniard due to a sponsorship contract, tweeted that Porto is where Casillas will be playing next year.

Manchester do not have much up their sleeve as De Gea is looking to return home rather than to make more money. Financially speaking, LVG was and probably still is willing to meet the Spaniard’s financial expectations but there is no way around the fact that the keeper wants to return home.

Even though United have Valdes, they still want to sign a keeper who has not been out of the game for as long as Valdes was. There are three options right now with Lloris being the most obvious. Next in line is Asmir Begovic and then apparently Jasper Cillenssen.

De Gea might not be the only important name leaving Old Trafford this season as Di Maria is expected to receive a huge deal from PSG. The Argentinian is clearly not in the right place and might need a change in scenery. Even if he was linked to Arsenal most recently, there is little to no chance of seeing him in the Premier League if a transfer does go down.
